From Glasgow, it takes just over 2.5 hours by car to the ferry in Tayinloan. You drive along a beautiful road that takes you past Loch Lomond, up the mountains and down to the sea on the west side of Scotland. Then you drive south towards Campbeltown at Lochgilphead. (For ferry times Tayinloan-Gigha, visit ‘’Cal Mac Ferry’’). When you arrive in Gigha, turn left after the school and you will reach Achamore's gates on the right after just a few minutes. The driveway to our house is just over 350m long in a very lovely setting.
